Cameroon has "come of age" says Song

Cameroon football has came of age with its third victory in the African Nations Cup finals on Sunday, says captain Captain Rigobert Song after his team beat Nigeria on penalties.

At a press conference which the defeated Nigerians failed to attend, Song was generous in victory. "It was a great joy for me playing against a great side like the Nigerians.

The victory "shows that Cameroon has come of age," he added.

Song predicted however that Nigeria, who have won two Nations Cups to Cameroon's three, will go on to win again. "Nigeria will rule again," he said. (AFP)
