Rangers face crisis as Dumitru resigns

Manning Rangers coach Ted Dumitru has resigned from his position at the club, however the experienced coach believes that the lack of commitment shown by the players has been caused by a third party.

Club chairman Chicco Lazarus also believes that there has been an influence from a third party, but admits that the number one priority is to appoint a new coach before the club’s next match.

Lazarus also confirmed that Dumitru had advised him to appoint one of the players as coach ahead of Friday night’s crucial match against Jomo Cosmos.

Rangers have lost seven out of nine League and Cup matches, which is an unfamiliar statistic associated with such a club.

Rumour has it that Dumitru may be on his way back to Sundowns.
