Phillips sees future in Cape club

Former Premier Soccer League chief executive officer, Trevor Phillips is apparently interested in buying shares in Cape Town club Hellenic.

English-born Phillips is currently working for Sky TV in his native country and according to a source close to Hellenic Phillips was in South Africa holding talks with the ‘Greek’ club.

Trevor Phillips first came to South Africa in 1997 and he became the first chief executive office of the Premier Soccer League. Phillips only stayed for two years in South Africa before he resigned and went back to England.
