Congo have David Memy back at the helm. He was coach when they played South Africa in the ill-tempered qualifiers for the 1998 World Cup Finals and returned to the job last year after the Red Devils lost to Cote d’Ivoire in the Nations Cup qualifiers. It has been a busy time for the coach, with a series of friendlies against neighbours the Democratic Republic of Congo and also in the new central African regional tournament, the Unifac Cup.Watch out for Rolf Nguie-Mien, the German based midfielder, who has the oppurtunity to enhance his reputation on this stage and Macchembes Younga Mouhani, who is a crack forward.
